A guide for equipment buyers

Complete bottling line or individual machine: what to compare

A complete used bottling line and a single replacement machine solve different production needs. Compare both options against your product, formats, plant layout and budget.

When you evaluate a complete line

Review the full equipment list and the interfaces between machines. Check whether bottle preparation, filling, closing, labeling and packaging stages are included. Identify conveyors, utilities and controls that belong to the proposed transfer.

When you evaluate a single machine

Compare the machine to your existing line: format range, transfer height, line direction, controls and output. Consider the change parts and any integration work required to introduce it into production.

Make both quotations comparable

Use the same product, package sizes and output targets in both briefs. Separate equipment cost from transfer and requested technical services. Record any missing information before comparing the proposals.
